The Wet plate process produces unique one of a kind images on glass ("ambrotypes") and metal ("tintypes") using the same equipment and processes popularized by the earliest photographers such as Mathew Brady, Julia Margaret Cameron and Nadar. The result is a permanent photographic object, many of which have been with us for more than 150 years. </p>
